Lynn Eisenberg

Lynn has held several senior roles across the federal government. In the Biden-Harris Administration, she served as Principal Deputy General Counsel for the Department of Education from 2022 to 2024. Before that, she served as General Counsel of the Office of Personnel Management from 2021 to 2022. 

At the Department of Education, Lynn helped oversee legal aspects of some of the Department’s most sensitive and urgent matters, including relating to equity and discrimination, first amendment issues, congressional oversight, and reporting of foreign payments, as well as ethics, grants, contracts, and rulemaking.  

At OPM, Lynn worked on all matters affecting the federal workforce, including working with the White House, DOJ, and other agencies on development and implementation of return to work policies. During the Obama Administration, Lynn served as an Associate Counsel in the White House Counsel’s Office.

Outside of government, Lynn served as Deputy General Counsel for Biden for President and practiced at a large DC law firm, where she developed significant experience with internal investigations following allegations of misconduct; workplace culture reviews; strategic counseling regarding compliance with federal and state laws; government investigations; and litigation.

Lynn graduated from New York University School of Law, magna cum laude, and Washington University in St. Louis.
