COUNSEL

Brian Rosen-Shaud served as a trial attorney for four years at DOJ’s Federal Programs Branch. At DOJ, Brian litigated complex administrative and constitutional law cases, including defending a Department of Labor rule defining and delimiting exemptions to the FLSA’s overtime wage protections and a CMS Merit-based Incentive Payment System award program.

Brian received the DOJ Civil Division’s Special Commendation and Perseverance awards. After serving at DOJ, Brian was a senior deputy associate counsel at the White House, where he conducted government investigations and provided ethics advice to senior officials.

Brian clerked in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine and the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. He graduated magna cum laude from Boston College Law School, where he was a member of the law review, and received a B.A. from Georgetown University.
